The past week has been hectic, let me tell you. We went to visit my in-laws in Mikkeli for the weekend which included a double-birthday party for my hubs and his brother. And while it was a fabulous time all around it meant losing several days of writing and other useful time. I’ve also noticed a slight panic-paralysation going on; I’ve got so much to do that instead of just grabbing something and doing it, I’m paralysed and do nothing instead. It doesn’t help that allergy time has kicked in and I’m either stuck inside or trying not to scratch my face off. But enough complaining! Here’s this week’s progress on dimensional-gateway-guarding librarians now with a bonus of an escaped werewolf-type creature from another dimension!
Project: Librarians
Deadline: May 31, 2013
New words written: 900
Present total word count: 14,900
Things accomplished in fiction: Pretty much nothing.
Next up: I don’t think I can do any worse than I have been doing for the past week so hopefully I’ll get at least the accomplice for my villain set up next week.
Things accomplished in real life: Scala, scala, scala. I haven’t been doing much beyond my functional programming homework. I started the second week of my Zombies,Run! training but the second session was foiled by the arrival of alder pollen so now I’ll do my excercising inside for a month or two. Maybe I’ll get a full night’s sleep one of these days, too.
