If you’ve been reading for a while, you’ll know that last summer, in an effort to keep myself working consistently, I started using the Magic Spreadsheet. Today is my 70th consecutive day of writing. Since that worked out so well for me, I’m also trying to make myself accountable to finish things by sharing my projects here as well.
So here’s what I’m working on May 2014:
Lonely Souls
I’m almost there with my first draft. My current projection says I’ll probably be done around the 14th. It’s the story of a half human succubus trying to find her own way in the modern world.
Homework
I’m attending an online course about public speaking and another with Dean Wesley Smith on character and setting so I’ll be doing a lot of homework as well.
How Not to Die of a Broken Heart
My submission for Women Destroy Fantasy, I missed the deadline by miles but I’m trying to get it done by the end of June to submit to the next round of Writer’s of the Future. This is an urban fantasy short story that began when I got the idea for the title.
Space Pirates, an unnamed story
A space opera story about two sisters who ended up among a crew of space pirates. They pull a heist that goes horribly, horribly wrong. Need to finish plotting
