I’ve talked a lot about sewing this year, and that’s really because sewing has been a massive part of my life again. I started out the year working through my works in progress. And then I moved on to try to make everything all at once, which, of course, never actually works out. But I did manage to get quite a few things done. Sometime around October, I came up with an idea that it would be fun to do 21 projects in 2021. Because why not? And I realized that I was actually pretty close to getting there! So here’s a quick list of all the projects I’ve finished this year!
- His & hers masks
- Brown aloha skirt
- Faux fur vest
- Walkaway dress
- Harrison shirt
- White Banksia lounge tank
- Moomin hoodie
- Cal Pajamas
- Glow in the dark Banksia lounge tank
- Upton skirt
- Medlow robe
- Appleton dress
- Zadie jumpsuit
- Marett pants
- Chilton trench coat
- Aberdeen shirt
- Scuba Aberdeen
- My favorite hoodie
- Muna & Broad Waratah undies
- Greet hat
- Seamwork Finn
I only realized when I started documenting this blog post that I never actually got around to taking and sharing pictures of all of them. The undies make sense, but the others I have no excuse for.
But the year is not over yet! I’m trying to finish a pair of Muna & Broad Noice jeans by the end of the year, but we’ll see how that goes. In the meanwhile, I’ve done quite a lot to be happy with myself.
